Retrospect: My internship at Joint Research passed quickly! I started my first day at home, but luckily it became more and more possible to work in the hospital. Then a detour through the Oosterpark could not be missed! I look back on a fun, enjoyable and also instructive time at Joint Research. Everyone was always helpful and were able to help me quickly if I couldn't figure something out. My scientific internship was about the differences in characteristics between patients who did and did not use the postoperative Wound Care app after hip or knee arthroplasty. I learned a lot about conducting the entire research process. I would like to thank Nienke for thinking along and for encouraging me to think for myself first ;-). The result of my research was that younger patients and patients with lower ASA scores used the app more often. What I also liked is that I could help colleagues about issues in the department. I was able to serve as a kind of link between the research and the nursing department. Finally, I would like to thank you all for the pleasant and educational time and maybe I'll see you in the department!
